The LIFESAVER bottle is revolutionizing the battle space, by reducing carried weight for the soldier, and lessening the traditional logistic demands of drinking water faced by militaries around the world.
There is no longer the need to filter water at the source. With the LIFESAVER bottle you simply scoop and go, then filter on demand. No more foul tasting tablets or chemical cocktails. The LIFESAVER provides sterile drinking water on demand. The LIFESAVER bottle produces sterilized water under pressure allowing it to be used as a wound irrigator or eyewash. The LIFESAVER filters water down to .015 Microns (15 Nanometers), so he cartridge will remove bacteria, viruses, cysts, parasites, fungi, and all other microbiological water-borne pathogens from your water.
Water purification is no doubt a complex science and because of that, marketers have preyed upon a lack of consumer understanding for years. In most people’s minds, 99% of anything is a good thing. That is simply not the case with water purification. A 99% bacterial or viral pathogen retention rating for a water purification system means that the filter is unable to meet even the most basic of compliance measures and would deem the device unusable in an environment teaming with microbiological pathogens. In order to be deemed compliant with US EPA standards under the Safe Drinking Water Act 93-523, a water purifier must retain, at a minimum, 99.999% of bacterial contaminates and 99.99% of viral contaminates. It is also impossible, based on the test protocols used to test and measure the effectiveness of water purification devices, to obtain a 100% retention rating. The science gets even murkier if you are dealing with devices that purify via chemical additive, UV light or osmosis technologies but it is a bit clearer when it comes to purification through 100% filtration as with the LIFESAVER® bottle. When it comes to filtration, it’s all about the holes. Due to the Over-Whelming demand of this product orders may take 2 to 3 weeks to process.
